For buyers
Who am I buying from?
Straight from the shop, farm or maker. We just run the marketplace. Your order and your payment go to them.
Why do I check out separately with each shop?
Because each shop is its own business with its own payment methods, delivery and collection times. Your basket keeps everything together until you are ready.
Can I collect?
Most farm shops let you collect. Look for "Collection" on the shop, and tap "Directions" to get there.
Something is wrong with my order. Who do I contact?
The shop you bought from. Open your order from your confirmation email and press Report a problem, and it goes straight to them. We're like the shopping centre: each shop is its own business and looks after its own customers, including refunds and replacements.
My parcel is late
Once the shop hands a parcel to a courier, delivery times are down to the courier. Use the tracking link on your order, and message the shop if it does not arrive. Courier problems are rated separately so they don't unfairly hurt the shop's score.
I have an allergy
Each product shows the allergens the shop has told us about. Please message the shop before ordering if you need to be sure.
What does "Not on Not a Supermarket yet" mean?
That is a directory listing for a real local producer, made from public information so you can find them. They have not joined yet, so you can't order through us, but you can visit them or use their own website.
For sellers
What does it cost?
Nothing. Selling here is free: no subscription, no listing fees and no commission, ever. There are no adverts either. Your customers pay you directly and the money is all yours.
How do I get paid?
Directly. Connect your own Stripe or PayPal, show your bank details for transfers, or take cash and card when people collect.
Which couriers can I use?
Any. Royal Mail, Parcelforce, DPD, UPS, Evri, DHL, Yodel, InPost, FedEx, APC, a chilled courier or your own van. You set prices by weight and can offer free delivery over a set amount.
I'm already listed. How do I take over my listing?
Open your listing and press "Claim this listing". We will check you are the owner and turn it into a full shop.
